Ubiquitous Communication | Monday, December 29 2008 | posted in Software

A few days back I wrote a story: Sharing peaks on-site with Friend Connect, that focused on efforts directed towards ubiquitous communication via on-site social networking using the new Google Friend Connect API.
An even bigger attempt at bringing down barriers to unifying communication, takes the form of a new software from TelCentris code named: VoxOx. It is not the first effort at unifying communication tools, in the recent past we have seen many IM clients that let users from one network chat with users on another network, however VoxOx can do much more than just chat.
With VoxOx, users can send e-mail and instant messages, send text messages, host video conferences, make phone calls, post messages to social networks, and even share files, all from the same place.
